How to make custom aluminum parts

The processing of custom aluminum parts follows the steps of tool setting – tool setting inspection – graphic inspection。

1: Install the tools on the tool holder, which are: No. 01 cylindrical turning tool, No.02 cutting tool, and No. 03 threading tool.

2: In the control panel, select MDI, data input mode.

3: In the input panel, select the program key, input the program on the display, and enable the spindle to turn on. Move the No. 01 cylindrical turning tool to the top of the end face, try to cut the end face, keep the Z direction unchanged, and then withdraw the tool. Press the key on the operation panel to stop the spindle. In the input panel, select the parameter setting key, select the soft key – correction, select the soft key – shape, enter the tool correction/geometry interface, input “Z0” at the corresponding position, press the soft key to measure and get a new tool after the toolset is completed. The Z value to complete the 01 outer circle Z-direction tool setting of the turning tool.

4: Align the X direction again: Press the spindle forward key on the operation panel to restart the spindle. Use the handwheel with the keys to test the tool, move the No. 01 outer circle turning tool to the right side of the outer circle surface, try to cut the outer circle, keep the X direction unchanged, and then withdraw the tool. Press the key on the operation panel to stop the spindle. Use a vernier caliper (micrometer or another measuring tool) to measure the outer diameter of the outer circle after the trial cut and record it.

3: For some extremely irregular CNC surfaces or positions with high size requirements, some positions that cannot be measured by common measuring tools, three-dimensional measurement is required if necessary.

4: the workpiece must not have rust, bumps, chipping, and burrs. At the same time, there should not be a large amount of residual cutting fluid, cutting oil, and iron filings in the holes on the surface of the workpiece.

5: According to the 3D drawing file, check whether the workpiece has been completely processed without omission, the benchmark is correct. All the positions requiring sharp corners (especially the sealing position) cannot be chamfered or R.And check the size according to the drawing and then check the self-check. stated on the slip.

6: The CNC machined electrode requires no burrs on the surface, the serial number and electrode number are complete, clear, and correct, and there must be no writing other than the electrode number and electrode number.
