In designing aluminum computer cases, we are most concerned with two portions: the electronic components inside layout and the outside appearance.
The internal structural design determines the installation method and expansion capabilities of the hardware components; a reasonable internal layout can facilitate users to install and upgrade hardware.
For example, some aluminum computer cases are designed with a variety of hard disk slots, expansion slots and cable management channels, which are convenient for users to add hard disks, optical drives or other expansion cards according to their needs.

In addition, a good internal layout also optimizes airflow and further improves the heat dissipation effect. For example, some high-end chassis are designed with special water cooling system installation positions, which provide powerful expansion support for users who pursue extreme performance.
Aluminum material with good thermal conductivity helps to quickly conduct the heat generated by internal hardware. Combined with customized heat dissipation hole design, such as distributing different shapes and sizes of heat dissipation holes, it can accurately optimize the heat dissipation effect and extend the life of the hardware according to the computer hardware configuration and usage scenarios.


It is about the outside design. We reasonably design and layout heat dissipation holes, which can ensure smooth airflow. The shape and size of the heat dissipation holes should be optimized according to the heat dissipation requirements of the hardware inside the case.
Design a reasonable ventilation channel so that cold air can enter the case smoothly and hot air can be quickly discharged.
The side heat dissipation holes are the key position for exhausting hot air. Hot air will naturally rise due to its low density, so we set a large area of heat dissipation holes on the case’s side, which can effectively exhaust hot air and form good convection. For example, most aluminum computer cases are designed with a large area of mesh heat dissipation holes on the side. We combined the aluminum heat sink fan to further improve the heat dissipation effect.
The side heat dissipation holes can increase the air circulation path, especially suitable for cases with small internal space. The side heat dissipation holes can be designed in strips or grids to reduce the impact on the appearance of the case while ensuring that air can pass smoothly.
The front panel heat dissipation holes are mainly used for air intake, it provide cool air inside the case. A reasonable front panel heat dissipation hole design can cooperate with the internal aluminum heat sink fan to form effective air convection. For example, we will design large mesh holes on the front panel and cooperate with the front aluminum heat sink fan to provide sufficient cool air for the inside cases.
The rear panel heat dissipation holes usually work with the power supply aluminum heat sink fan to exhaust the inside case’s hot air.
The design of the rear panel heat dissipation holes should ensure that they match the position and size of the power supply aluminum heat sink fan to achieve efficient heat dissipation.

When we finish the inside and outside design, the next step is the process. We use a high-precision laser cutting machine or CNC punching machine to cut the aluminum according to the design size, and then process the aluminum computer case shape by bending and welding. The aluminum computer case needs surface treatment, such as anodizing and spraying, and the process parameters are strictly followed to ensure that the surface treatment effect meets the design requirements. We check the firmness and sealing of each connection part and test the heat dissipation performance, appearance quality, etc. We ensure that the product meets the customized standards, then assemble the processed aluminum computer case.
